The emergence of Big Data implies more issues about data quality and data types for the actuaries (missing data, poor quality data,...). By introducing Belief Functions we aimed at developing a tool useful for tackling the increased part of "uncertainty" (versus risk) in the actuarial analysis.
What is then your opinion about the interest of this tool for the actuaries ?

Belief Functions are a promising field for the actuaries who need at least to be familiar with.
